El turismo en los espacios rurales y naturales de Castilla y León, como base del desarrollo rural

摘要

This study’s main objective is to analyse tourism in rural and natural environments as a revitalising element of spaces with important socio-economic problems. The work was structured basically in three parts. Firstly, the natural spaces of special interest in the region were analysed as a form of attraction for visitors. Subsequently, the application of the various policies were studied, such as autonomous, national and particularly the European policies which are directed towards promotion of the development of rural tourism in its various forms in the Castille and Leon community. Lastly, the elements defined in the offer and tourism demand in the whole of the region, and also the problems which must be solved in the future were analysed.
