The Turks of Europe : borders minorities and immigrant minorities : some éléments of cultural geography. Who are the Turks of Europe ? Are they European or Asians ? How many, where are they ? In her more traditionnal and classic boundaries, now a day Europe more than 1 million Turkish - Turkic languages speakers. As a consequence of successive peopling movements, the Turkish European minorities, at least, ethnically and culturaly heterogenous, keep somes original caracteristics, particularly language and Islam. The present worker's migration toward E.E.C. is to be distinguished from the historical migration movements. But, between London and Cyprus, between Berlin and Astrakhan, inside and outside présent Turkey, a personality affirms itself.
