It took place in Vienna, at the Kunsthistorisches Museum, and gave the opportunity to devote a part of it to the « statues » — term to prefer to « great bronzes » — by reason of the presence of the « Jungling vom Magdalensberg » which proves to be a work of the 16th century. The lectures were based on relatively accurately dated works, such as portraits, and on investigations on technical processes destined to render important services in the future.
