Les effets géomorphologiques du séisme d'avril-mai 1979 au Monténégro occidental (CRNA GORA - Yougoslavie)

In 1979, all the coastal region of Montenegro was affected by an earthquake. The first shake (magnitude 7 on April 15 th at 6. 30 GMT) was followed by a number of after shocks during April and May. Many rocks avalanches and fallings in were along the walls in limestone and the cliffs on the seaside with formation of cones at the foot of the slopes. In the flysch, landslips were important. Cracks and collapses broke plains and terraces along the rivers.
