Le ' Belloisien ' jusque sur les bords de la Loire : les gisements du Paléolithique final de Muides-sur-Loire (Loir-et-Cher) / The 'Belloisien' extending to the banks of the loire: the sites at Muides-sur-Loire (Loir-et-Cher)

The technical and economic characteristics observed in the flint industries of the Upper Palaeolithic at Muides-sur-Loire suggest that the site witnessed an occupation that can be associated with the "Belloisien ". On the basis of the presence of a few microliths among the tool assemblage, fresh hypotheses are put forward regarding the cultural identity of these distinct diagnostic indicators of the Pleistocene-Holocene transition, which are well known from South-East England and the Somme Basin, and have just recently been identified west and south of the Paris Basin.
