Un nouvel enfant moustérien, de Qafzeh (Israël) : Qafzeh 4a (en anglais)

Bone fragments (iliac wing, two parts of a temporal) called Qafzeh 4a, previously attributed by R. Neuville to a child about 7 years old (Qafzeh 4). belong to a younger child, about 3 years old. From the temporal, which shows to neanderthalian feature, a middle ear ossicle (incus) has been cleaned. This Qafzeh 4a incus, with those of Qafzeh 11 and Darra-I-Kur, are the only ossicles known for the Lower and Middle Palaeolithic.
