VOLUMETRIC PROPORTIONS OF BODY SEGMENTS AND TRUNK/LIMBS VOLUMETRIC INDEX Summary. — Results are reported concerning volume variations of thorax, abdomen, upper and lower limbs of 651 schoolgirls aged 6 to 18. The relevance of Trunk/limbs volumetric index is stressed together with its significance in relation to morphologic variations of the body and to the trend of thorax + abdomen volume to equal the volume of the four limbs.
