摘要

Geosynthetics are polymer materials that in recent decades became well-accepted material in geotechnical engineering. The focus of this thesis are geosynthetics for reinforcement, their basic properties and applications are presented.In experimental part we studied two geosynthetic characteristics which are essential for designing geosynthetic-reinforced soil structures. We investigated geogrid tensile strength and interface friction angle between geogrid and three different soils.In last part a parametric study of cover on slope stability was made in accordance with German guidelines EBGEO. It was examined how slope dimensions and inclination, shear strength of subgrade layers and shear strength of soil-geosynthetic for reinforcement interface influence safety of treated structure.
