Testing resolution ability of electronic tachimeters at minimal movement of optical prism

The focus of this assignment is to test the resolution abilities of electronic tachimeters while changing the positions of optical prisms. It consists from two parts, exsperimental and calculating. We used three electronic tachimeters: Leica TDM5000, Leica TCRP1201 (R300), Leica Wild TC2002 and four optical prisms: two circular optical prisms Leica GPH1, Wild GPH1P No. 3 and two cubic prisms. Using these instruments, the directions were observed in three sets. All the data were analyzed digitally whit different kind of computer software. The values of movement the optical prisms were calculated indirectly, based on 3D coordinates. The results were finally statistically processed.
