摘要

The Bologna Process has started in 1999 and to date, 45 European countries are actively participating in it. Its aim is implementation of main objectives of the Process in the higher education system throughout the EU. The final implementation is foreseen for 2010. The most important activity of the participating countries and their respective universities is the replacement of current higher education study programs with new, adapted ones. This thesis degree contains a part of preparational study for implementation of the reform of Civil Engineering Study Programs at the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering, University of Ljubljana (UL FGG). The study is based on the results of the survey taken inside the Tuning project and their method of international adaptation of study programs at separate departments. The first part of my thesis degree focuses on presentation of key documents connected with the Bologna Process, as well as legal provisions and other applying restrictions. In addition, it also contains the presentation of organisations and projects (EUCEET, Tuning), carried out with intention to realize the goals of the Bologna Process. The main part of the thesis degree consists of the presentation and analysis of the survey results. The target group of the survey were graduates of Civil Engineering and professors at UL FGG, as well as the employers of Civil Engineering graduates. The method of the Tuning project is based on the identification of generic and subject specific competences or put simpler, skills. As such, it was the constituent part of the survey filled out by employers and professors. The survey for graduates, on the other hand, consisted of evaluation of the scope, difficulty, usefulness and applicability of subjects comprising the study program prior to reform. The UL FGG has shown its cooperation in the Tuning project`s international survey in the field of civil engineering for the year 2005, by forwarding the completed surveys of employers (the part on generic competences) and professors (the part on generic and specific competence). In the end, the results of the three different surveys were compared and together with the comparison of Slovene and international survey they could well serve our faculty as guidance in forming new study programs and introducing their accompanying changes.
