The thesis addresses the procedure of processing laser scanning data in the software called FUSION. Its main goal is to learn about the software's functioning in the case of constructing the digital terrain model from LIDAR point cloud. The FUSION software is presented through the description of the tools included in the procedure and the practical execution of digital terrain model on the test area of Koroška Bela. Five different tools from the FUSION software (FilterData, GroundFilter, GridSurfaceCreate, TINSurfaceCreate, MergeDTM) are used. Moreover, a short description of all procedures of processing with the use of batch files is included. We evaluated the program as easy to work with. However, it could contain more tools in order to better the final product.
