Diploma deals with the design of parking house made of structural steel grade S355. The global initial geometric imperfections and the effects of second-order theory were taken into account in the static analysis. All the elements of supporting structure as well as substructure were designed. Typical joints were also designed. Loads were determined according to SIST EN 1991. The steel element were designed according to SIST EN 1991 - 1998.The interaction of parking houses and soil was analyzed and foundation dimensions were determined. Position plans and drawing of the main details were made. The static analyses, the seismic action and the design of elements were performed according to SIST EN 1990, SIST EN 1991, SIST EN 1993 and SIST EN 1998.
