Comparative analysis of measures that affect reverberation time in a room

The thesis deals with measures that affect reverberation time in three lecture rooms ofuddifferent sizes. In the first part of the thesis I present theoretical background on sound andudreverberation time and I describe some of the possible measures that can changeudreverberation time in a room. This is followed by the practical part of the thesis in whichudprocedures, methods of measuring and graphical presentation of the results are described. Iuduse three different types of measuring reverberation time in a room - using the meter, byudsimulation in a computer program and using equations. I compare the values of reverberationudtime in empty space, occupied space and empty space with closed curtains. The resultsudobtained are evaluated and compared with the Slovenian legislation. In conclusion, I presentudsome preliminary studies in this field. They confirm my findings; the types of measuringudreverberation time differ one from another and have their own limitations, and differentudmeasures can impact the reverberation time in a room.
