Applicability of the real estate register data for the analysis of the existing housing stock within municipalities of Koper and Ankaran

The thesis deals with the usefulness of the Real estate register data for the analysis of the existing housing fund within selected municipalities of Koper and Ankaran.udThe first part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of the attribute data within the Real estate register. Characteristics of the housing stock according to the type of residential buildings are analysed as well as the number of residential buildings, material from which the buildings are constructed, the year of their construction and the data regarding their renovation. Characteristics of the housing fund are also presented on various maps.udFindings suggest that the Real estate register data can be used to analyse the housing fund within municipalities of Koper and Ankaran, but with limitations on the applicability of the data regarding heating and roof/façade renovations.
