Changements techniques et structure du capital en fonderie : pour une explication des choix d'accumulation du capital et de gestion du changement technonologique

[eng] Assuming that the analysis of the production of technological change requires the formulation of the connections between this production and the characteristics of the dynamic of an industry, the survey appears at first as an attempt at identifying two main characteristics of the dynamic of the casting industry. One refears to the development of the technics used in this industry, the other one deals with the setting-up and the renewal of a fixed capital stock suitable to the casting operations. Secondly, an example taken from the story of Pont-a-Mousson illustrates our approach. The choices of accumulation are regarded as the vectors of technological changes, the contents and the functions of which are settled by the characteristics of the dynamic of the industry. [fre] Partant de l'hypothèse selon laquelle l'analyse de la production du changement technologique requiert la formulation des relations qui lient celle-ci aux caractères de la dynamique d'une industrie, l'étude se présente dans un premier temps comme une tentative d'identification de deux grandes propriétés de la dynamique de l'industrie de la fonderie. L'une est relative à l'évolution des techniques mises en œuvre dans cette industrie, l'autre à la constitution et au renouvellement d'un stock de capital fixe productif adéquat à l'activité. Dans une seconde partie, un exemple tiré de l'histoire de Pont-à-Mousson illustre notre approche : les choix d'accumulation sont appréhendés comme les vecteurs des changements technologiques dont le contenu et les fonctions sont déterminés par les propriétés de la dynamique de l'industrie.
