Ubaedillah : The Correlation Between The Using Of Total Physical Response Method And The Student’s Motivation In Learning English At The Seventh Grade Students Of SMP Negeri 2 Losari –CirebonudThe learning process has been done by teachers in a school year still very less to make the students to more increase learning motivation, there are still many students who feel they have no enthusiasm to learn and improve his performance. This is because many teachers are less appropriate in using the method of learning, so students feel bored in learning and are not satisfied with what is given to teachers during the learning process. The teacher is a person who touches directly on the learning process so that the quality of teachers in this very determine to educational progress, the use of good learning method will increase students' motivation.udThe Aims of this Research are 1) To find out the data about the Using of Total Physical Response Method in Learning English at The Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 2 Losari – Cirebon. 2) To find out the data about the student’s motivation in learning English at The Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 2 Losari – Cirebon. 3) To know how the correlation between the Using of Total Physical Response Method and The Student’s motivation in learning English at The Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 2 Losari – Cirebon.udThis thesis is based on the premise that the TPR method can bring the students feel the satisfaction in learning, so students will be motivated and eager to learn. In addition the using of TPR method in learning English is expected to increase active participation of students that will be created efektif. Increase learning students' motivation.udThe techniques of Collecting data Which used in this study is the observation techniques, interviews, and deployment questionnaire. The population in this study is seventh grade students of SMP Negeri Losari - Cirebon, amounting to 207, with 20% of the population sample of 41 students.udFrom those problems the conclusion that the using of TPR at the seventh grades students of SMP Negeri 2 Losari - Cirebon good enough. Based on the results of deployment questionnaire that 55.88% of students stated yes, 34.40% of students answered sometimes and 8.72% of students said not. Student’s motivation in learning English can also be categorized quite good. Based on a questionnaire that is 56.34% of students said yes, 34.39% answered sometimes and 9.27% answered no. The amount of the correlation (relationship) between The Using of Total Physical Response Method and The Student's Motivation in Learning English at the Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 2 Losari - Cirebon based on product moment correlation test is 0.455 It’s means there is a good enough correlation. The results of hypothesis testing that is thitung reached 3.19 while the ttabel is 2.02. So thitung > tTable these results show that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted means there is a positive Correlation (relationship) between The Using of Total Physical Response andudStudent’s Motivation In Leaning English at The Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 2 Losari - Cirebon.
