Pseudodifferential calculus on compact Lie groups and homogeneous spaces

Pseudodifferential calculus is an important tool in the theory of elliptic linear partial differential equations. We introduce papers [I-IV], where pseudodifferential calculus is studied in the presence of a transitive group of symmetries for the underlying compact manifold.
