The heritage mediation has new tools and approaches in line with the current changes in the patrimonial culture. Based on regional studies, we show that the heritage process of he swing bridge can lead to local anchoring of a collaborative economy relied on the density of the urban industrial heritage of the nineteenth and twentieth century in Europe and the world and rallied social groups. The existence of Colbert bridge still in operation involved the vitality of local identities resting on a rare material culture: it affects local users, sensitive to the aesthetics of metal construction, and disseminates the image of a pioneer modernity in particular through digital tools. The question of safeguarding Colbert bridge, if it is controversial, presents territorial development issues mobilizing local and global networks in a logic of economics of culture and knowledge related to the local and international economy networks. If the business model is not studied here, it nevertheless shows the importance of research networks in history of science and technology which support the building of a scientific and cultural mediation, source of local development. The temporality of such process accommodates both accelerations associated with the increasing inclination of people to the heritage, those associated with digital tools and social networks and timeframes related to local and international institutions involved.
