Estimation of radio frequency fingerprint (RFF) ofuda transmitter from the received signal is often affected by theudwireless communication channel. The existing approaches mainlyudrely on the channel reciprocity to obtain the RFF. In this letter,udwe propose a novel method to extract the RFF from the receivedudsignal by estimating the signal parameters using the rotationaludinvariance technique (ESPRIT), which takes advantage of theudmultiple receiver antennas. We prove that the RFF estimationudis independent of the wireless channel reciprocity. Numericaludresults show that the RFF can be accurately extracted from theudreceived signal, and that the proposed algorithm has excellentudperformance.ud
