Appropriate Use of Opioid Analgesics and Redional Alliance in Cancer Pain Palliation(Symposium,Palliative Care,The 72nd General Meeting of the Society of Tokyo Womenu27s Medical University)

We start the palliative care team of all wards consultation type in October, 2005, and the palliative care addition in a medical examination and treatment reward is active with a consultation request from the chief physician department although We do not calculate it. In this June, the palliative care was the times when we medical worker must wrestle with palliative medical care by an anti-cancer measure basic enactment carefully. It seems that the chief physician department and establishment of the cooperation system with a palliative care team are important to perform the high quality palliative care that considered patient QOL with a tailor maid. A pharmacist of palliative care team performs enforcement of dose advice of a medicine for the team doctor whom We matched with the condition of a patient, pain accesment from a view point of a pharmacy for a patient and taking medicine guidance, advese effect monitoring, a medicine preparation of a home care shift patient, consultation from a clinical pharmacist. A pharmacist lets these activity fill up, and it will be necessary to pour power into medicine suggestion for improvement of accompanying symptoms such as promotion of proper use of medical supplies used for palliative care including a drug for medical care, lassitude or dyspnea, cooperation reinforcement with an area community pharmacy for at-home palliative care in future. Here, We will introduce activity contents of a pharmacist of palliative care team.
