The Arizona Autonomous Vehicles Club is participating in the 2016 AUVSI Student UnmannedudAerial Systems Competition which offers various challenges to be completed by a fullyudautonomous aerial vehicle. To complete various mission objectives, a low cost, rotary-wingudplatform was developed and deployed. The vehicle was assembled and upgraded for autonomousudcapability using commercially available components and open sourced software.
