摘要

The characteristics of a strip line as a microwave transmission line have been studied by solving integral equations and by analysis using the normal mode method. In this paper, using the latter method, the right angle corner of the strip line is further analysed after the outer right angle corner has been modified by cutting off a triangular part. Next the analysis is carried out when the inner right angle corner has been modified by adding a triangular part. The results obtained show that the transmission characteristics versus frequency are appreciably improved as was predicted. Finally maximally flat conditions are derived for each of the modified configurations
