A detective story (of sorts). The author recently received a photograph taken in 1968 of a large, CFA Voysey designed applique displayed in Dalston Hall, a Cumbrian fortified manor, along with a covering letter addressed to Barbara Morris (of The V&A museum) describing its condition. The hanging is no longer at the hall, could it be located?
