Learning Rules in Trading Mechanisms for Reservable Time-specific Permits

This study provides an incentive-compatible mechanism for trading time-specific permits (TSP) with multi period markets under dynamic uncertainty. A TSP is a right that can be exercised at a predetermined time and date (e.g. an airplane ticket). The TSPs are traded in multi period markets: one can purchase an airplane ticket in advance as well as on the day of the flight. However, obtaining the optimal TSP assignment scheme with multiple purchase pportunities under dynamic uncertainty has several problems. For instance, the asymmetric information problem (AIP) and dynamic values of TSPs problem. Therefore, there are still some problem that need to overcome if practice the TSPs system in real world.
