In this paper, the free vibration characteristics ofudan elastically connected non-prismatic double-beam systemudbased on Euler-Bernoulli beam theory are determined usinguddifferential transform method. The double-beam system isudcomposed of two parallel non-uniform cantilever beams whichudare attached to each other by a Pasternak elastic medium.udNumerical results of the method used are validated byudcomparing with the ones available in the published literature.udThe effect of the taper ratio on the natural frequency of theuddouble-beam system is also studied.
