LTE Network Planning using the Hata-Okumura and the COST-231 Hata Pathloss Models

摘要

This paper takes a look at two of the most common radio propagation models used in determining the radio coverage, with regards to Long Time Evolution, LTE. These models are the Okumura-Hata and the COST-231 Hata models. A comparative analysis through mathlab simulationudfor both models at different frequencies and base station heights are looked into.
