It isudwrong if the world of educational considered the exact field, social sciences orudhumanities knowledge more important than the literature. The literary work mayudopen the eyes of the readers to know the reality of the social, cultural, political,udmoral, aesthetic, and education. In education, literature helps teachers to provideudnew ideas, principles, techniques, and experienced teacher. While for students,udlearning literature helps them to acquire the skill, knowledge, and qualities ofudpersonal character needed to deal with the problems, and opportunities of theudmodern world.udLetters of a Javanese Princessis is Kartini’s letters collection booked byudJ.H Abendanon, and it was translated in English on 1921 from the original Dutch.udBut the popularity of Kartini’s letters in our country doesn’t mean that everybodyudknows the content of Kartini’s letters. Usually, people know Kartini as anudIndonesian hero who fights for feminism only, whereas she gave any contributionudto our country. One of the important gifts from Kartini is her contribution in theudeducation world. By her experience on facing conflicts, she finds out any ways toudsolve the conflict by education building. Accordingly, it is necessary to conduct audresearch using content analysis of the work entitled “A Study of R.A Kartini’sudconflict in Letters of a Javanese Princess Translated by Agnes Louis Symmers”udSo that, this research is intended to (1) Describing what conflicts appear inudLetters of a Javanese Princess are (2) Explaining how conflicts are solved (3)udRevealing the Education based on Kartini’s thought (4) And analyzing howudconflicts and solution can be implemented in Education.udThe research design used in this research is descriptive qualitative byudusing library research and textual approach of the psychological literatureudanalysis. The subject of the study is Letters of a Javanese Princess book. Itudcontains R.A Kartini letters collection, translated by Agnes Louis Symmers fromudthe original Dutch. The procedures of collecting data is read frequently Letters ofuda Javanese Princess, finding out the data related to the purpose of the study,udselecting and taking the data concerning with the purpose of the study, recheckingudthe whole data to decrease or to avoid falsity. After collecting the data theudresearcher analyze the data by data reduction, data display, and data conclusion/uddrawing verification.The findings of this research reveals (1) Psychological and sociological ofudKartini’s conflict in Letters of a Javanese Princess (2) Kartini solved her conflictsudby build Schools’ Girl and her protest to the Dutch by her writings (3) The mostudimportant education based on R.A Kartini principle are character educationudcontiguous with student creative skill to establish the independent woman (4) Theudcontribution which are given by Kartini in Education world is teaching principleudfor the teachers, such as teachers should have certain quality standards, includingudthe responsibility, authority, independence, and discipline. In this role, the teacherudnot only knew about the material to be taught. However, they must have a strongudpersonality as a model role for the students. Kartini also provides completeudcurriculum, it contains material that educate the brain (cognitive), the formation ofudattitudes (affective), and education skills (psychomotor), natural sciences such as;udreligion, moral, good example, social sciences, and essential skills as a balanceudbetween the knowledge and ability of creativity. Character Education for theudlearners such as; strong and smart character, progressive vision, and critical socialudcharacter.udThe benefit of the research findings are (1) Theoretical findings; asudmaterials consideration of increasing knowledge about Letters of a JavaneseudPrincess, as the literature that give some important contribution in Educationudworld, provide new ideas, principles, and also experiences of facing conflict (2)udEmpirical findings; as materials consideration in education remedial throughudKartini’s experience of teaching learning, and the way to solve the conflicts.
