Cryptology is a science that has been used throughout the history in order to protectudthe privacy of the contact between two or more people in order to prevent the otherudpeople to understand the communication by mainly using Mathematical codes. Theudaim of this essay is to illustrate the theoretic and applied uses of mathematics inudcryptology and defining the function that has been used to identify the cryptography.udIn the first part of the essay, the basics and definition of cryptography have beenudexplained. Information on how does the cryptography work and conventionaludcryptography has been provided.udIn the second part, the brief history of cryptography has been given. In this part, greatudminds and the politics of cryptography have been also provided.udIn the last part, some of the classic cryptography methods have been explained andudexamples have been given to understand the subject better.
