Advantages of assembled cystoscopic table with television-fluoroscopy and cine-fluoroscopy

Clinical usefulness of accomodated urological table (HYDRADJUST) with x-ray and image intensification units (SHIMAZU) was evaluated as follows. 1) In retrograde pyelography, overdistension or poor filling of the renal pelvis and calyces with contrast medium could be avoided. 2) In urethrography and cystography, vesico-ureteral reflux and state of the bladder neck were exactly observed, and good timing of x-ray exposure was always possible. 3) IVP of supine to erect position was easily taken. 4) It was also useful in passing filiforms, change of the nephrostomy tube, manipulation with Dormia's stone dislodger, selective angiography, needle biopsy of kidney, and hysterosalpingography.
