DOUBLE BLIND COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECT OF SB-502 FOR PAIN DUE TO URETERAL CALCULUS

The clinical effect of SB-502(N-butylscopolamine bromide 20 mg and sulpyrine 500mg) for spastic pain due to ureteral calculus was studied by double blind comparative analysis. SB-S02 was given intravenously to 43 patients. And an active placebo(N-butylscopolamine bromide 20mg) as a control drug was given samely to 42 patients. It was statistically proved that SB-502 relieved pain more efficiently than the active placebo. Two patients of SB-S02 group and 3 patients of the placebo group showed side effects. But the side effects were not significant.
