Long pararectal incision and extraperitoneal approach in nephro-ureterectomy

摘要

Total nephro-ureterectomy and some other types o f surgery on the whole upper urinary tract were performed in fifteen cases through a long pararectal incision and extraperitoneal route. This approach proved to be an excellent one to the whole upper urinary tract, allowing surgeons to work in a wide surgical field. There are no injury to muscle fibers an d to important vessels and nerves. It is applicable to most patients with exception of extremely obese one.
