This thesis aims to retrieve propositions drawn up since the 1970’s in academic, militant and political spheres in a reference framework of feminism of Marxist origin. The theoretical structure of the thesis touches on several of the different debates established from the second wave up to the present day. Ever since radical feminism emerged, the refusal to subordinate women’s interests to any other cause has generated a multitude of reflections and analyses which warrant highlighting. As an example, the effort made by certain feminist theoreticians since that time to identify the point of origin of discrimination against women has led us to consider the division of labor by sex or the exploitation of women’s bodies as part of this origin. To this are added, through different feminist currents, other differences that must be taken into account when addressing the process of overcoming all types of discrimination. Some of the other proposals come from feminists of color, Chicana, multiracial, lesbian and trans feminists, manifesting the multiple differences found in the subject “woman” and the need to increase the complexity of the definition of problems and discriminations they face, and, from there, to craft proposals and struggles that integrate and do not exclude. A side effect of this interesting debate about identities is the complexity of constructing “women’s” battles and, for decades, its main asset has been and is still the creation of politics of location, responding to the interests of women who have been previously defined and named...
