Evaluation of rice genetic resources in the central, eastern and western regions in 2008

Evaluation of rice genetic resources was conducted at Rice Research Centers (RRCs) in the central, eastern and western regions in 2008. The total of 380 rice accessions were evaluated for morphological characteristics at Phathum Thani (PTT), Suphan Buri (SPR), Chachoengsao (CCS), Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya (AYT), Prachin Buri (PCR) and Ratchaburi (RBR) RRCs. The total of 936 and 200 rice accessions evaluated in 2007/2008 were analyzed for seed physical and chemical quality and tested for reaction to rice diseases and insects, respectively.
