摘要

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing withudindex modulation (OFDM-IM), which uses the subcarrier indicesudas a source of information, has attracted considerable interestudrecently. Motivated by the index modulation (IM) concept, weudbuild a circular convolution filter bank multicarrier with indexudmodulation (C-FBMC-IM) system in this paper. The advantagesudof the C-FBMC-IM system are investigated by comparing theudinterference power with the conventional C-FBMC system. Asudsome subcarriers carry nothing but zeros, the minimum meanudsquare error (MMSE) equalization bias power will be smallerudcomparing to the conventional C-FBMC system. As a result,udour C-FBMC-IM system outperforms the conventional C-FBMCudsystem. The simulation results demonstrate that both BER andudspectral efficiency improvement can be achieved when we applyudIM into the C-FBMC system.
