The goal of the thesis was to create an RFID system that enables traceability of products, tagged with RFID stickers or tags and overview of data on desktop or mobile devices. In the implementation of the RFID system, two applications were developed, called RFID Portal and SCM Portal. RFID Portal is a desktop application that operates an RFID door, which detects products, that arrive at a warehouse and leave it and temperatures in which they were kept. All the collected data is sent to the web application SCM Portal, which stores them to a database and EPCIS repository. Through the web application users can manage settings of RFID door, overview saved data of detected products and export them. The applications exchange data through a web protocol ‘websocket’, the use of which rapidly expands between various applications.
