摘要

The dissertation which is presented here describes a new everyday teaching programme method for English in foreign language teaching. A drama-orientated teaching method based on regular use of the English course book, is to be applied for advanced beginners with the aim of advancing their speaking skills. The empirical groundwork gathered, based on principles of the action research, is the evaluation of extensive data which has taken place during the summer of 2009 in class 7 at a Cologne Grammar School. On account of occupational stress, teachers tend to develop routines on three major didactic levels which is understandable for reasons of self-protection but is questionable with regard to the quality of teaching. This programme improves the educational quality with regard to the media level insofar as it promotes a far more flexible use of the course book. With regard to the teaching procedure, this programme makes use of drama pedagogical techniques to ensure its systematic integration in the three phases of foreign language acquisition. With regard to the teaching of language in general and the teaching of structures in particular, this programme makes use of the Lexical Approach according to Lewis, which had to be modified in order to meet requirements of educational psychology and psycholinguistics.
