Augmented reality is one the relatively new and fast growing branches in modernudinformatics. It incorporates in simple people lives on a lot of different levels. It can be usedudeverywhere starting from the simple checking of your email and ending up with a complexudaugmented reality video games or augmented reality learning. From the ancient times actorsudtried to immerse the spectators in world of the performance using decoration and costumed.udIn XVIII – XIX centuries pictures with different types of blur were used to create threedimensionaludimage from the point of view of the spectator. So, as you can see the concept ofudaugmented reality is not that new, but it became more and more popular only in last decades.udThis happened due to the progress in modern technologies. Better resolution of cameras andudmore powerful processors on the computers and phones made the augmented realityudapplications be done easier, faster and made them more accessible for the end user. Fastudevolution of smart phones and their relatively acceptable price made them one of the mostudpopular targets for augmented reality applications. That’s why exactly development of andudandroid application with augmented reality was chosen for this diploma work.udThis diploma work presents the hole process of a software project developingudstarting from creating software specification and finishing with testing and in productionudquality management. In the beginning a quick overview of augmented reality is presented toudintroduce the reader in the world of augmented reality and make him familiar with notionsudconnected to this topic. Chapter two represents the process of software specification for theudcurrent (first) and future versions of the application. Chapter free represents developmentudplan, where the are presented hour dedication of each participant of the project and theuddevelopment time line. The hours dedication is calculated based on the planning poker andudbased on function point analysis after which the price of the project effort is calculatedudbased on the amount of hours and salary per hour. After separation of the task in sprintsudfollowing the agile development technique Scrum is presented. Chapter four overviews theudmeasures that were taken in order to assure quality of the project. Chapters five tells aboutudall the stages of the design development and usability testing of low fidelity and highudfidelity prototype and analysis of usability testers opinion. Chapter six describes the fulluddevelopment phase starting with initial project creating set-up, adding every module one byudone accompanied by UML diagram of classes and description of all algorithms and librariesudused and screen-shots of the application after including every module. Last chapter includesudthe description of all automatic and manual tests to be performed in order to controludsoftware quality. This chapter also includes the description of ways to ensure the software isudworking good in production phase, in other words, when it is published in google playudmarket.udAs a result of this master thesis an android application for a company that sells Tshirtsudwas created. This application is created in order to make the process of wearing theseudT-shirts more fun by applying augmented reality to the T-shirts.
