Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui teknik fingering dan teknik bowing pada concerto violin karya Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Karya ini merupakan hal yang menarik untuk diteliti. Skripsi yang diberi judul “Teknik bermain Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Mayor bagian pertama karya Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Analisis teknik bowing dan fingering)” ini disusun atas dasar ketertarikan peneliti terhadap teknik permainan yang digunakan di dalamnya, dan pada umumnya karya ini adalah grade standar tingkatan pemain biola di dunia. Untuk mengungkap hal-hal tersebut, proses penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik, yang dimaksudkan untuk memberikan gambaran secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat mengenai fakta berserta sifat-sifat tertentu yang terdapat dalam objek penelitian. Hasil temuan penelitian teknik fingering Concerto No. 5 In A Mayor Bagian Pertama diantaranya teknik double stop, triple stop, artifical harmonic, trill dan berbagai penggunaan posisi fingering dari posisi 1st hingga posisi 9th. Dalam karya ini permasalahnya terletak pada penggunaan teknik fingering. Teknik fingering pada lagu ini banyak terjadi perpindahan posisi, hingga menimbulkan permasalahan dalam warna suara yang dihasilkan.Pada teknik bowing, ada beberapa teknik bowing yang terdapat dalam karya ini, diantaranya teknik playing chord, slur, spiccato, staccato, staccatissimo, detache, sforzando, dan accent. Secara keseluruhan, teknik bowing di atas peranannya sangat penting dalam karya ini, terutama hubungannya dengan pengkalimatan musik. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka peneliti menyarankan agar analisator lebih mengenal dan menguasai terlebih dahulu karya musik yang akan diteliti, agar mempermudah proses analisis yang akan dilakukan. udududThis research was conducted in order to determine the technique of fingering and bowing on violin concerto by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
