PENGARUH KOMPETENSI KEWIRAUSAHAAN TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN USAHA: Studi Persepsional pada Pengusaha Kecil di Sentra Industri Kerajinan Bordir Kecamatan Kawalu Tasikmalaya

Berkembangnya industri kreatif merupakan fenomena yang menarik perhatian banyak pihak saat ini. Termasuk diantaranya Industri Kerajinan Bordir yang berada di Kecamatan Kawalu Tasikmalaya. Namun demikian, kenyataannya masih terdapat pengusaha yang mengalami kegagalan usaha atau bangkrut. Masalah tersebut salahsatunya berkaitan dengan kompetensi kewirausahaan. Oleh karena itu, akan dilakukan penelitian mengenai pengaruh kompetensi kewirausahaan terhadap keberhasilan usaha.udBerdasarkan hal tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kompetensi kewirausahaan, mengetahui gambaran tingkat keberhasilan usaha, dan mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi kewirausahaan terhadap keberhasilan usaha. udJenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dan verifikatif. Dengan metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey. Yang menjadi variabel bebas(X) adalah kompetensi kewirausahaan, sedangkan variabel terikat (Y) adalah keberhasilan usaha. Ukuran sampel penelitian adalah 77 responden yang merupakan para pengusaha kecil di Sentra Industri Kerajinan Bordir Kecamatan Kawalu Tasikmalaya. Teknik analisis menggunakan koefisien korelasi pearson product moment, dan analisis regresi linier sederhana.udHasil pengolahan data kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kompetensi kewirausahaan dan tingkat keberhasilan berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil perhitungan regresi sederhana didapat persamaan Ŷ = 3,312 + 0.323 X dengan R-square sebesar 41,8% yang berarti bahwa besarnya pengaruh kompetensi kewirausahaan terhadap keberhasilan usaha adalah sebesar 41.8% sedangkan sisanya 58,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti oleh peneliti. udHal ini menunjukan bahwa para pengusaha kecil di Sentra Industri Kerajinan Bordir Kecamatan Kawalu Tasikmalaya harus memiliki modal berupa kompetensi kewirausahaan untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan usaha mereka. It includes Embroidery Industry Center in KawaluTasikmalaya.Nevertheless, reality shows the fact that there are some there are some business failures or bankrupts exist in this industry center. This problem related to the entrepreneurship competency. Hence, this research analyzes the influence of entrepreneurship competency towards the success of business.udRegarding to the problem, this research attempts to find out the description of entrepreneurship competency and the success of business and also to discover how much the influence of entrepreneurship competency towards the success of business.udThe research utilizes descriptive research and verification.To add more, the method used in this research is explanatory survey. Independent variable (X) is the entrepreneurship competency, whereas dependent variable (Y) is the success of business. The research samples are 77 respondents who are small entrepreneurs in Embroidery Industry Center in KawaluTasikmalaya. For the technique analysis, it is used correlation coefficient Pearson product moment and simple linear regression analysis.udThe result of questionnaires data processing shows that the entrepreneurship competency and the success of business are in the high category.It is acquired from the calculation of simple regression that Y = 3,312 + 0.323 X and R-square is 41,8%. It means that the influence of entrepreneurship competency towards the success of business is 41.8%. Whereas, the rest is 58,2% that is influenced by other factors which are not analyzed by the researcher.udForm the result, it can be concluded that small entrepreneurs in Embroidery Industry Center in KawaluTasikmalaya must have a principal named entrepreneurship competency to increase the success of their businesses.
