Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik investigasi kelompok terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas sepuluh pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quacy Experimental Design dengan bentuk Nonequivalent Pretes-Posttest Control Group Design. Berdasarkan uji normalitas, homogenitas, statistik non parametric (uji Wilcoxon’s Matched Pairs Test) dan uji t menunjukkan hasil bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik investigasi kelompok lebih tinggi dari pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah pada pengukuran akhir (posttest)udThis research is conducted to reveal the influence of the group investigation technique cooperative learning model toward the ability of problem solving of tenth grade students on economic subjects. The research design used quacy experimental design in the form of nonequivalent pretest-posstest control group design. Based on normaly test, homogenity, non parametric (wilcoxon’s matched pairs test) and t test showed results that there is the increasing of the ability of problem solving of class students who use the group investigation technique cooperative learning model higher than the ability of problem solving of the students of control class who use the communicative method in the last measuring (posttest)
