PEMANFAATAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA PELATIHAN KETERAMPILAN MEKANIK OTOMOTIF: Studi Kasus Pada Lulusan Lembaga Pendidikan Keterampilan Pelita Massa

Pelatihan ini dilatar belakangi oleh kebutuhan hidup manusia yang semakin meningkat, sehingga setiap individu tak mampu memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Pelatihan mekanik otomotif ini bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi peserta pelatihan agar dapat mengembangkan kemandirian dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya dengan cara diberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai mekanik otomotif. Melalui pelatihan mekanik otomotif diharapkan peserta pelatihan dapat memanfaatkan hasil pelatihan untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhannya melalui berwirausaha atau bekerja. Untuk itu mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan : 1) proses pelatihan keterampilan mekanik otomotif yang dilaksanakan oleh LPK Pelita Massa ; 2) hasil pelatihan keterampilan di LPK Pelita Massa; 3) dampak hasil pelatihan setelah mengikuti kegiatan di LPK Pelita Massa.udTeori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsep pelatihan terdiri atas pengertian pelatihan, tujuan dan manfaat pelatihan, komponen-komponen pelatihan, prinsip-prinsip pelatihan, manajemen pelatihan, dan metode-metode pelatihan. Sedangkan konsep pembelajaran terdiri atas pengertian belajar, unsur dan komponen pembelajaran, tujuan pembelajaran, prinsip pembelajaran, strategi pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran partisipatif, dan konsep kemandirian terdiri atas pengertian kemandirian, ciri-ciri kemandirian, tahapan kemandirian, serta kemandirian untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan.udPeneliti ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, metode penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara semiterstruktur dan observasi partisipasi pasif dengan subjek penelitian adalah pengelola, instruktur, dan peserta pelatihan mekanik otomotif LPK Pelita Masa, tempat penelitian di LPK Pelita Massa.udHasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini bahwa proses pelatihan mekanik otomotif menggunakan strategi perencanaan bottom-up, pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah pendekatan exspository, sedangkan metode pelatihan yang digunakan dalam pelatihan keterampilan mekanik otomotif yaitu group teaching method. Hasil dari pelatihan mekanik otomotif yaitu pengetahuan peserta bertambah setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan otomotif, sikap peserta dapat dilihat dari reaksi peserta saat pelatihan berlangsung bahwa peserta menjadi lebih aktif dengan memberikan kesan yang positif, selain itu peserta memiliki keterampilan dalam hal mekanik otomotif. Pelatihan mekanik otomotif ini berdampak positif bahwa secara ekonomi peserta memiliki pekerjaan dengan mendirikan usaha otomotif sendiri atau bekerja di perusahaan orang lain, sehingga peserta menjadi lebih percaya diri, mandiri, dan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Sedangkan dalam peningkatan sosial bahwa peserta lebih diakui dan dapat beradaptasi dengan masyarakat.---------- This research is motivated by the needs of human life is increasing, so that each individual is not able to meet their needs. Automotive mechanic training is aimed to facilitate the training participants to develop self-reliance in meeting their needs by providing them the knowledge and skills regarding the automotive mechanic. Through training of automotive mechanics are expected trainees can use the results of the training to be able to meet their needs through entrepreneurship or work. For that encourage researchers to conduct research in order to: 1) the process of automotive mechanical skills training conducted by LPK Pelita Massa; 2) the results of skills training in LPK Pelita Massa; 3) the impact of the results of training after attending activities at LPK Pelita Massa.udThe theory used in this study is a training concept consists of understanding the training, the purpose and benefits of the training, the components of the training, the principles of training, management training, and training methods. While the concept of learning consists of understanding learning, elements and components of learning, learning objectives, principles of learning, learning strategies, participatory learning process, and consists of understanding the concept of the independence of self-reliance, self-reliance characteristics, stage of independence and self-reliance to improve their welfare.udThe researchers used a qualitative approach, descriptive research methods. The data collection technique using semi-structured interviews and observation passive participation with research subjects are the manager, instructor and trainee automotive mechanic LPK Pelita Masa, where research in LPK Pelita Massa.udThe results obtained in this study that the process of training of automotive mechanics using a strategy of bottom-up planning, penendekatan used in this training is exspository approach, whereas the method of training used in automotive mechanical skills training that group teaching method. Results of the automotive mechanic training that the participants' knowledge increased after participating in training activities automobile, attitudes of participants can be seen from the reaction of the participants during the training lasts that participants become more active by giving a positive impression, other than that the participants have the skills in automotive mechanics. Automotive mechanic training had a positive impact economically that participants have a job by setting up their own automotive businesses or work in the company of others, so that the participants become more confident, independent, and able to meet their needs. While the social improvement that participants were more recognized and can adapt to society.
