PENGARUH MANAJEMEN MUSYAWARAH GURU MATA PELAJARAN (MGMP) TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL DAN KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK GURU SERTA IMPLIKASINYA PADA KINERJA GURU MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI SMA NEGERI SE-KOTA BANDUNGud

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kinerja guru. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi hasil Uji Kompetensi Awal pada tahun 2012 lalu yakni dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 42,5 dan nilai tertinggi yang hanya mencapai 50,1. Kinerja sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor kompetensi, dan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kompetensi yaitu program pengembangan keprofesionalan berkelanjutan melalui kegiatan MGMP.udTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur pengaruh penyelenggaraan MGMP Ekonomi terhadap Kompetensi Profesional dan Kompetensi Pedagogik serta implikasinya terhadap kinerja guru Ekonomi SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung. Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu guru ekonomi di SMA Negeri Kota Bandung yang aktif dalam kegiatan MGMP. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan melalui metode proportionate random sampling. Data diperoleh dari sumber primer melalui angket, dan informasi dari pihak MGMP Ekonomi.udHasil penelitian menunjukkan Efektivitas MGMP (X) berpengaruh positif terhadap Kompetensi Profesional (Y1) dan Kompetensi Pedagogik (Y2). Artinya semakin efektif penyelenggaraan Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP), akan mempengaruhi Kompetensi Profesional dan Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru. Selain itu, terdapat pula pengaruh yang positif antara Efektivitas MGMP (X), Kompetensi Profesional (Y1) dan Kompetensi Pedagogik (Y2) terhadap Kinerja Guru (Y3). Terdapat pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung dari Efektivitas MGMP terhadap Kinerja Guru. Adapun pengaruh tidak langsung yakni melalui variabel Kompetensi Profesional (Y1) dan Kompetensi Pedagogik (Y2). udImplikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu diharapkan semua pihak yang berperan dalam proses pendidikan khususnya guru, pihak sekolah, dan pemerintah lebih memberdayakan forum MGMP yang telah dibentuk oleh para guru, guna pengembangan kompetensi dan kinerja guru khususnya dalam upaya mencetak guru professional untuk kualitas pendidikan yang lebih baik. Selain itu, motivasi guru dalam berpartisipasi dalam program-program yang diselenggarakan oleh MGMP pun harus ditingkatkan lebih lanjut lagi. udKata Kunci : Efektivitas Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP), Kompetensi Profesional, Kompetensi Pedagogik ,Kinerja Guru.udThe problem of this study is the low performance of teachers. This is based on Competency Test results in 2012 with means score 42.5 and the highest score only 50.1. Performance is strongly influenced by the factors of competence, and one of the factors that affect the competence of continuous professional development program through Teacher’s Council.udThe purpose of this study to measure the impact of the Effectivity of the Economic Teacher’s Council tho the Professional Competence and Pedagogic Competence and also the implications for the performance of Senior High School Economics teacher in Bandung. Population in this study is economics teacher in Senior High School at Bandung which active in Teacher’s Council. Sample taken through proportionate random sampling method. Data obtained from primary sources through the questionnaire, and information from the Economic Teacher’s Council..udThe results showed Teacher Council Effectiveness (X) has positive influence on Professional Competence (Y1) and the Pedagogic Competence (Y2). This means that the effective implementation of Teacher Council (MGMPs), will affect the Professional Competence and Pedagogic Competence. In addition, there is also a positive influence between Teacher Council Effectiveness (X), Professional Competence (Y1) and Pedagogic Competence (Y2) on Teacher Performance (Y3). There is a direct and indirect influence of the Teacher Council effectiveness to the Performance of Teacher. The indirect influence effect teacher performance through the variable of Professional Competence (Y1) and the Pedagogic Competence (Y2).udThe implication of this research is all the parts involved in the process of education, especially teachers, schools, and government is more increasing teacher’s council that built by teachers, as some kinds of teachers' competence development and also to increase their performance for better education .
