IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI SUMBER DAYA ALAM :Penelitian Tindakan Kelas pada Siswa Kelas IV di SDN 2 Cibodas Tahun Pelajaran 2012 / 2013 Kabupaten Bandung Baratud

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya nilai siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA yang diperoleh dari siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Cibodas. Hal ini diakibatkan karena pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang efektif dan selalu berpusat pada guru mengakibatkan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa kurang dari KKM. Peneliti tertarik untuk mengungkap upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui model Project Based Learning pada siswa kelas IV dalam mata pelajaran IPA materi sumber daya alam di SDN 2 Cibodas. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Cibodas yang berjumlah 29 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar tes dan lembar observasi. Penelitian ini dapat memperoleh gambaran mengenai perencanaan pemebalajaran, mengungkap pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan model penelitian yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Dalam pelaksanaannya penelitian ini terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dengan materi pembelajaran mengenai sumber daya alam. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada pra siklus sebesar 64,68. Siklus I adalah 79,31 dan pada siklus II adalah 85,76. Persentasi ketuntasan belajar siswa pun mengalami peningkatan, pra siklus persentase ketuntasan belajar mencapai 48 % dan setelah siklus I mencapai 76 %, siklus II mencapai 94 %. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPA. Sehingga diharapkan model Project Based Learning dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu model pembelajaran IPA di SD yang lebih mengembangkan kemampuan siswa. Bagi guru yang akan menerapkan model Project Based Learning disarankan untuk memilih pengarahan produk yang sesuai dengan materi dan memperhatikan alokasi waktu pembelajaran dengan baik serta lebih banyak memperhatikan rasa tanggung jawab siswa terhadap proyek yang telah siswa rancang agar dapat terlaksana menjadi sebuah produk.udThe research is motivated by the low result of natural science daily test. The result is obtained from the 4th grade students of SDN 2 Cibodas. This case because the used teaching conventional learning varied and more teacher-centered learning.The average scores of the students’ get less score KKM because result about this situation. The teaching method only focuses on lecturing method used by the teacher. Therefore, this research is conducted to overcome the problem stated above so the learning results of the students will be improved. This research is aimed to gain the overview of planning and to reveal the implementation of model Project Based Learning at 4th Grade which focus topic is science resource material in SDN 2 Cibodas. The instruments that are used in the research are students’ worksheet and observation sheets.This study uses the method of class action research (PTK) by applying a research model proposed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. In the implementation of the study, the research uses four phases namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research consists of two cycles. The average scores gained at each cycle are 64,68 at the pre cycle, 79,31 at the cycle I, 85,76 at the cycle II. The percentage of students’ learning thoroughness increases significantly. The percentage of pre cycle on the learning thoroughness reaches 48% and after the cycle I reaches 76%, followed by the cycle II reaches 94%. The results of the research show that the implementation of model Project Based Learning of teaching can enhance the students’ learning results on science resource material expected to be one of teaching method in elementary school to improve the students’ learning results. It is suggested for teachers intending to apply the this model of teaching to choose a accurate product, to pay attention in allocating the duration of teaching as well as give more responsiblity to finish the students project. udud
