摘要

This paper investigates the availability of Communication Management (CM) which promotes the communication between residents and local artists in the community and therefore introduces community vitalization. The object of CM can be divided into 3 stages considering communication process: 1) Promoting artistsu27 migration, 2) Clueing communication, and 3) Keeping communication. Interview survey was performed in Aya-Town, Miyazaki Prefecture. The analysis reveals that the programs by the town authority are well arranged among the stages, and are evaluated positively by both the residents and the artists. The local associations such asneighborhood associations and artists-committee are also found to have similar functions to the local authority. It can be concluded that the communication management is available in community vitalization.
