Concentration of forgotten substances using the XAD concentration methodIn the nineties, RIVM developed a method to concentrate toxic substanceson XAD (a synthetic resin). Using bioassays, the toxicity can bedetermined in the concentrate. 'Modern' toxic substances tend to be morepolar then 'classic' ones. It was invetigated whether more polarsubstances are also concentrated using the appliedmethod.
