An exploratory descriptive study of the HIV/AIDS knowledge, sexual behavior and condom use among African-American college students

The purpose of this study was to assess and describe the level of awareness about HIV/AIDS knowledge, sexual behavior and condom use among African-American college students. A total of thirty African-American male and female college students enrolled in the Atlanta University Center were asked to participate in this study. There were twenty-nine college students who agreed to participate in the study. Simple descriptive statistics and t-test were used to analyze the data.The findings of this study accepted the hypothesis that there was no significant statistical difference between HIV/AIDS knowledge, sexual behavior and condom use among African-American college students.
