Magnetic nanoparticles Fe3O4 had been synthesized from materials FeCl3.6H2O and FeSO4.7H2O using coprecipitation method by varying the synthesis temperature. The nanoparticles were characterized using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) to determine the size of the crystal and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) to determine the surface morphology. Based on the size of the crystal XRD data obtained for the temperature of 600C, 800C and 1000C respectively as follows: 12.1071 nm; 8.3629 nm and 9.2810 nm. Crystal size is calculated using Scherrer equation shows the results of the crystal size changes with increasing temperature synthesis.
