Not the least of Asphalt Mixing Plant (AMP) in South Sulawesi unqualified for technical requirements of distribution asphalt hotmix with distance and travel time from AMP location to the project is at the point of its range of travel time did not meet the quality hotmix implied. The study was conducted in 26 locations AMP in Sulawesi-south aimed at analyzing with descriptive analysis of the characteristics and potential of AMP in South Sulawesi to generate a correlation between the characteristics of AMP in the form of relationship the factory site with a factory area, productivity AMP seen from a comparison of production capacity to the number of vehicles hot mix (Dump Truck) and the amount of labor, as well as an overview of the potential of AMP visits the service area corresponding technical specifications of each plant AMP-based GIS. These results indicate that the majority of AMP in Southern Sulawesi are located in the suburbs (sub urban location) and far outside the city (country location).
