摘要

There are many low land areas, distant and isolated islands those lack of clean water or fresh water andudmountain sand or river sand in the archipelagic state of Indonesia. The price of concrete work becomes more expensiveudbecause of the requisation and transportation of the fresh water or clean water and mountain aggregates or riverudaggregates for concrete production to those islands and areas. In order to eliminate the problems of shortage of cleanudwater and fine aggregate in the low land areas and the distant islands, this research utilized sea water and marine sand toudproduce concrete. In order to overcoming the continuous dumping of waste material, this research also used Portlandudcomposite cement that containing wasted material such as fly ash. This research is a part of ongoing investigation on theudproduction of high performance concrete that focuses to study the mix design, mechanical properties (compressiveudstrength-modulus elasticity), and chemical compound.
