摘要

Electricity is one of the most importance energy foruddaily life. Therefore electricity demand of low voltage electricudpower is increasing every year. On the other hand, the potentialudhazard of not proper installation in low voltage can lead toudseveral problems. One of them is an arcing during short circuitudwhich would lead to fire. This paper is propose a design of lowudvoltage arcing identification equipment based on wavelet. Theudsuccess in detecting arcing could be an effort to prevent theudfire. The proposed algorithm is use wavelet transform as signaludprocessing technique. This algorithm is expected to be audsensitive detector for arcing current at low voltage level whichudcan cause of fire.
